Last month, I had the pleasure of being a guest on the weekly internet radio broadcast, Politics Beauty, on Blogtalk Radio to talk about toxic chemicals in salon products. The show is hosted by Tamara Johnson, a previously licensed nail technician, and the broadcast is specific to licensed beauty professionals in our country. Hair stylists, clients and salon owners in the United States may be included in the Brazilian Blowout Class Action Settlement against their knowledge. What does this mean? For starters, affected stylists and clients looking to sue the company can not do so unless they exclude themselves from the settlement before the pending deadline. The problem with this? Chances are, you may qualify to be part of the settlement right now and do not even know about it.
